This places a tension on all your decisions which we love. The longer you stay out, the greater chance you'll run into dangerous people who could hurt you or take your supplies. You have to decide how long you will stay out for, what to do when you meet unsavoury characters, and what items you need to get and take home. One of the best mechanics is the scavenging phase where you venture outside the house for supplies.

Because of this you have to come to a common consensus with what to do. During these phases there is a fair amount decision making needed simply because at times there are very few actions your characters can take depending on how sick, injured, miserable etc they are. The game is essentially split up into different phases, day, evening, night (scavenging) and dawn. The rules state that co-op players take turn being the lead decision maker but we find it best if we make decisions together. Any more than that and it might get a bit conjested. Ive played a few games of TWOM with my gf and can say that there is a fair amount of interaction between two players.
